Beverley Hills Lizard People

New Horror-Comedy ‘Beverly Hills Lizard People’ Announced

When excavation is started on a cross-town subway, the ancient reptilian overlords of a long-forgotten empire are disturbed from slumber. Now they strike back–eager to reclaim what was once theirs: Beverly Hills.

Ground zero for invasion is a once popular hotel, which is currently the site of a reality TV cooking show competition. It lies directly overhead of their secret city. A group of unlikely contestants — ambitious, backstabbing, and determined — must wage war against  the shape-shifting Terrors From Below; can they stop them before the reptiles achieve their goal of conquering first Beverly Hills, then the world?

Beverly Hills Lizard People is produced by Jody Wheeler and Steve Parker, whose upcoming horror feature WTF! will be released shortly. The film is inspired by the legend that Lizard People live under the ground in Los Angeles  (as reported in the papers in 1944!), and also rule the world.

Scripted by Wheeler, the film is fashioned in a similar tone to Slither and Scream. Beverly Hills Lizard People will tell of an ancient race of shape-shifting Lizard People from underground who resurface to reclaim the beloved Beverly Hills.

Cthulhu Crush Productions has announced filming on Beverly Hills Lizard People will begin in the new year.
